Breakfast Recipe: Biryani Poha


  • Soaked Poha: 1 Cup.
  • Boiled Sweet Corn: 1/2 Cup.
  • Boiled Peas(Matar): 1/2 cup.
  • Finely chopped Capsicum: 1/4 cup.
  • Finely Chopped Tomato: 1 unit
  • Finely chopped onion: 1 unit.
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce: 2 tablespoon.
  • Garlic paste: 1 tablespoon.
  • Finely chopped Green Chilli: 2 units.
  • Corriander.
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 Teaspoon.
  • Salt
  • Cheese : 2-3 cubes.
  • Butter: 3 tablespoon.


  • In a deep pan, add some butter and let it melt.
  • Now, add the given quantity of onion, sweet corn, peas, capsicum, green chilli and garlic.
  • Cook it for 5 minutes on a high flame.
  • Add Chilli sauce and salt and mix them up.
  • Now, in the poha (kept separately) , add turmeric powder and salt.
  • In a greased baking dish, put half of the poha. On it spread the layer of the cooked vegetables (Step 2).
  • Grate a cheese cube on it.
  • Repeat the same procedure.
  • Set the microwave temperature @ 200 degree and bake it for 5 minutes.
